The department’s Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands contributes sea level rise reporting that informs the coastal buffer framework. DLNR also provides estuarine wetland management guidelines for transitional habitat zones at stream mouths, and coastal species habitat guidelines relevant to the buffer framework’s ecological restoration components.
